Ice fishing is still great at Mack Mesa for stocker-sized trout, but ONLY near the pier at the southeast corner of the lake. USE CAUTION! The scenery at Highline changes constantly! Bring a camera and take a short hike along one of the trails. Depending on the time of day and the weather, you might see a few of our large deer herd - 4-point bucks, does and little ones. Or maybe our resident geese and ducks floating blissfully on the open water of Highline Lake. Or a sunset or sunrise creating awesome colors, shadows and views, and changing minute by minute! Get outdoors at Highline Lake and see what you can see! If Winter is really gone, shall we start looking forward to Spring?
