Boat Ramps - 2/3/2012

There are 13 access points on the Yampa River along the 134-mile Yampa River State Park stretch of the river from Hayden to the Dinosaur National Monument on the Utah line. The following seven areas have boat ramps: 1.Hayden Pump Station; 2.Double Bridges 6.South Beach; 7.Duffy Mountain; 8.Juniper Canyon; 9.Maybell Bridge; 11.Cross Mt. The headquarters campground offers campers coin operated showers and laundry facilities.

Campgrounds - 2/3/2012

The Headquarters campground near Hayden, CO has 50 campsites; 35 are electric RV sites, and ten basic tent sites. The campground also has a teepee for rent, five basic group campsites and a camper services building with showers and laundry facilities. There are six primitive campgrounds with river access along the 134-mile segment of the river from Hayden to the Dinosaur National Monument Each primitive camping area has between five and 10 campsites. Along various stretches of the river undeveloped camping opportunities exist. Refer to the river Access Points and Camping sections of this Web site.

Conference Rooms - 2/3/2012

The Headquarters campground near Hayden, CO has a conference room available for rent for $100.00 per day. Call (970) 276-2061 to reserve.

Group Campground - 2/3/2012

Yampa River headquarters offers a group camping area with five tent only sites. These sites are separate from the other camping sites at the park. Please contact the Yampa River State Park at (970)276-2061 for reservations.

Group Picnic Area - 2/3/2012

Yampa River offers Picnic sites at all 13 river access sites. See the River Access Points page on this Web site as well the Yampa River Brochure and Map. The Headquarters campground also has a group picnic area that can be reserved by calling (970)276-2061.

Visitor Center - 2/3/2012

The Visitor Center is located at the Headquarters campground near Hayden, Colorado. The Visitor Center provides visitor and traveler information as well as maps and other printed resources.
