Cabins and Yurts - 11/7/2010
There are eight small cabins and one large cabin located near the lake available for year-round rental. There are three yurts located on East Brush Creek, 9 1/2 miles from the lake. The Yurts will be available May 13 - November 19, 2011. The cabins are available year-round. The large cabin sleeps up to 12, and the yurts and small cabins sleep up to six.
Camper Services Building - 7/14/2010
Located in Elk Run Campground, the camper services building provides flush toilets and coin-operated showers. The showers cost $1 for four minutes; and $.25 for each additional minute. Showers and flush toilets are available mid-May through October. A valid camping permit or cabin/yurt reservation is required.
Campgrounds - 7/14/2010
There are 44 basic campsites, in addition, there are vault toilets and water spigots available around the campground. A dump station is available mid-May through October.
Conference Rooms - 8/1/2009
Located in the Visitor Center, this room can accommodate up to 30 people. Available as staffing permits.
Dump Station - 7/14/2010
A dry dump station is generally accessible May through October. A valid camping permit is required.
Group Campground - 7/14/2010
A spacious group campsite is available for groups of up to 60 people mid-May through September. Reservations are required, and can be made by calling the Visitor Center office at 970-328-2021. Reservations for next summer will be available in January.
Picnic Sites - 7/14/2010
Lakeside Day Use Area has 12 picnic sites. Meadows Day Use has 6 picnic sites along the banks of West Brush Creek.
Showers - 7/14/2010
Pay showers are available in the Camper Services building. $1.00 for 4 minutes; $.25 per additional minutes. Showers are available mid-May through mid-October. There are change machines available.
Trails - 10/12/2011
The 1.5 mile Lake Trail is open. New sections of the West Brush Creek Trail have been completed. Hike 1 mile downstream of the campground to check out Antones Creek and Borah Gulch. Or check out over 1.5 miles of new trail heading upstream from the Meadows Day Use Area. Popular trails on the surrounding White River National Forest - Sneves Gulch, McKenzie Gulch, Nolan Lake, Lake Charles and Ironedge are all good options.
Visitor Center - 7/14/2010
Browse educational displays, pick up a book or a gift, purchase park passes and permits for camping, cabins and yurts, register OHVs, snowmobiles and boats. The Visitor Center is 10 miles south of Eagle on Brush Creek Road. Open as staffing permits.
