All facilities are open. No individual hook ups but drinking water, dump station, flush toilets and coin showers are available. For 2013 camping reservations are available for the nights of May 17 through September 30. Yurts available May 17 through November 17. Cabin reservations are available year round. Fire Restrictions

No fire bans in effect. Fires are allowed in fire rings provided at the park. Charcoal grills allowed in developed areas.

Fishing Report

Stocked with catchable Rainbows 05/15/13 and 12" Cutthroat 05/20/12. Anglers are trying to match a variety of hatches. Gold spinners and and powerbaits are working well for Rainbow, Cutthroat and Brookies too. East Brush Creek is running fast. Try the beaver ponds on West Brush Creek.

Hunting

Hunting is allowed during legal seasons. Hunting is never allowed within 100 yards of facilities, including Sylvan Lake, the campground, cabins, yurts, Meadows Day Use Area or Visitor Center. Firearms, including bows, pellet guns or anything that fires a projectile may not be discharged anywhere except during legal hunting seasons. You may discharge your firearm in the White River National Forest, as per regulations.

Park Entrance

The Visitor Center is open 8-4:30 Monday-Thursday and 8-6:30 Friday-Sunday. Passes are also available at the self-serve stations at the lake, at the Meadows picnic area and at the top of the switchbacks on East Brush Creek.

Trails

The 1 1/2 mile Sylvan Lake Trail provides fishing access and a great walk. . The 6.1 mile West Brush Creek Trail is under construction but entire route can be walked.
Sneve and McKenzie Gulch National Forest Trails are snow free. You may encounter snow on on other National Forest Trails in the area.
