Boat Ramps - 2/22/2011

Rifle Gap has one boat ramp on the north side of the lake.

Campgrounds - 2/22/2011

Rifle Gap has 89 campsites that can accommodate tents, small trailers large motor homes, and pickup campers. Flush toilets and pay showers are available in Cottonwood and Lakeview campgrounds. Lakeview campground offers full hook ups. We have sites with electric in Cottonwood and Cedar campgrounds and basic sites in Sage and Pinion.

Event Facilities - 2/22/2011

Our Group Picnic Facility is available for rent! It is a great outdoor facility with picnic tables, water and electricity. Will seat approximately 100 people and is covered. Be sure to make plans early as it is first come first serve.

Showers - 3/7/2012

We offer pay showers in two of our camping loops, both Cottonwood and Lakeview. Cost is four quarters to start, for four minutes and twenty-five cents per minute after that. Be sure not to let the water stop or you will have to get started with four quarters again. Bill change machines are located nearby.

Visitor Center - 2/22/2011

The Visitor Center is located at Rifle Gap State Park on the northeast side of the reservoir on state Highway 325; telephone: (970) 625-1607. First aid, public restrooms, a pay phone, gift shop, fishing and boating conditions, boat, OHV and snowmobile registrations, internet access and exhibits are all available there. The Conference Room in the Visitor center is available for rental for $100 per day.
