Boating - 11/5/2011
The lake has been closed to all trailer launched vessels as of November 1st. Please be aware that aquatic nuisance species (ANS) inspections are mandatory on all vessels. You may have an inspection at either the Steamboat Lake boat ramps, the Visitor Center, or any Ranger in the field.
Camping - 12/11/2011
Yurts may be reserved year round. Campsite reservations have concluded for Summer 2011, and the campgrounds have been closed due to snow. Please contact the Park Office at 970-879-3922 with any questions.
Fire Restrictions - 11/5/2011
Campfires are allowed at the park in designated fire rings.
Fishing Report - 11/5/2011
If you have any information for our fishing report, please let us know! Please remember Pearl Lake is regulated to flies and lures only, with a bag limit of two 18"+ trout.
Icing Conditions - 1/5/2012
The lake is completely iced over at this time. Please be aware that ice conditions may vary dramatically, and that accessing iced-over water is inherently dangerous. As falling through could be fatal, a lifejacket and self-rescue equipment (eg: ice awls) are recommended.
Road Conditions - 1/5/2012
The Pearl Lake road has been closed for the winter.
Seasonal Closures - 12/11/2011
We have shut the water off, and the boat ramps as well as all roads are closed for the winter.
Trails - 12/11/2011
All trails are open, though inundated by snow.
Water Levels - 12/11/2011
Normal.
Winter Conditions - 1/5/2012
We have a base of about 14-20" at this time.
