Amphitheatre - 5/11/2012

CLOSED until mid-May. Our amphitheater provides a venue for outdoor interpretive programs and is located in the center of the campground. Bench seating for approximately 100.

Cabins and Yurts - 5/11/2012

Year round reservations; Three furnished log cabins. Two night minimum reservation. Pine Cabin/2bdr/$140 night; Spruce Cabin/3bdr/$200 night; Ponderosa/4bdr/$260 night. Colorado State Parks reservations line 1-800-678-2267 or 303-470-1144. No Pets/Smoking. No refunds for weather.

Camper Services Building - 5/11/2012

CLOSED until mid-may. The Camper Services Building is located in the center of the campground. The facility provides modern restrooms with pay showers, a small laundromat, and common area.

Campgrounds - 5/11/2012

All loops are now open. Electrical Campsites open first come first serve until May 18th when the reservation season begins. Water is available. Heated restrooms. Dry dump is open to paid campers. Electrical hook-ups with 20amp & 30amp. Shower Building will be opening next week. 719-687-2366 press zero for the Visitor Center Attendant during business hours.

Dump Station - 5/11/2012

Open to current paid entrance and camping permit holders.

Group Campground - 5/11/2012

Summer only - 2012 Group Campground reservations will be taken by calling the Visitor Center at 719-687-2366 and press zero. May 18th and May 25th weekends are still available. All weekends have been reserved for June, July, August and most of September. Many weekdays are available.

Horse Trailer Parking - 5/11/2012

Parking at the old livery parking lot is open With 27 miles of beautiful day riding trails, riders should always take a trail map. Campfires are never permitted in the backcountry. Overnight camping with horses is prohibited.

Picnic Sites - 5/11/2012

Mueller has 4 first-come first-serve picnic areas in a beautiful forested setting. Each area has 10 tables spread out amoung the trees with a standing grill at each table. Bootlegger Picnic Area has a handicapped accessible table. Non-reservable. Please use extreme caution with any open fire.

Playground - 5/11/2012

Small playground area available in the campground next to Camper Services.

Showers - 5/11/2012

Shower building is still closed until next week. Pay showers are available during the summer season. The cost is $1.00 for 4 minutes, then 25 cents per minute.

Trails - 5/11/2012

Beautiful trails vary from short walks to moderate/difficult longer hikes. Designated trail use includes: hiking, mountain biking, horseback trails, and winter cross-country skiing and snowshoeing. A trail map is a must for Mueller trails. No pets on trails or in the backcountry. No motorized vehicles. Backcountry camping or campfires are strictly prohibited.

Visitor Center - 5/11/2012

Open 9:00AM - 4:00PM Closed Mondays and Tuesdays until May 16th. Located 1.5 miles from the park entrance; Restrooms, nature and local history exhibits, maps, information and bookstore.
