Boating at Mancos State Park

Jackson Gulch Reservoir at Mancos State Park is a great place for hand-powered crafts such as kayaks and canoes and sailboats. Jackson Gulch is a “wakeless” lake—boaters cannot create a wake here. To ensure a safe and pleasant experience for all boaters, please observe the Colorado Boating Statutes and Regulations, also available at the park entrance.  View the Colorado State Parks Boating Program information. The Dolores Visitor Center provides OHV, snowmobile and boat registrations. You can call the Dolores office at (970) 882-2213.

Special boating and water restrictions apply at Mancos. Water-skiing, jet-skiing and swimming are not permitted on the reservoir. For more information, call the park office at (970) 533-7065 or the Dolores office at (970) 882-2213.
