Lory State Park has a number of volunteer opportunities year-round. The volunteer program supports the quality outdoor recreation experiences and resource stewardship for present and future generations. Volunteers assist staff with educational programs, visitor center operations, trail building and other park related activities. Lory State Park offers summer and winter internship openings. The internship curriculum includes park patrol, grounds maintenance, visitor services programs, trail construction and maintenance, noxious weed control, environmental education, and nature walks.
