Imagine a "day at the office" at Lake Pueblo State Park! We hire dozens of motivated and hard-working temporary employees throughout the year. Some of the positions filled are Temporary Parks Officers, Limited Commission Rangers, Visitor Center, entrance and campground attendants, maintenance technicians and Aquatic Nuisance Species Inspectors. The majority of the positions filled are for the summer months, but some positions are filled year-round (such as ANS inspectors).

All the positions posted on this page are temporary positions. They are strictly limited by law to a maximum of six months of employment during any twelve month period of time. More information on permanent positions with Colorado State Parks can be found by clicking here.

Job applications for temporary positions at Lake Pueblo must be downloaded from this site when a job has been posted in the box to the right. They are not generally available at the park. Applications are only accepted when a position is open, we are not able to accept them outside of a hiring period.

When we are accepting applications, please bring them in person to the
Visitor Center. It is open Monday through
Friday 9am to 4pm (excluding holidays). Applications can also be
