Boat Ramps - 5/24/2013
Boat ramp is open. The dock has been installed. All trailered boats must be inspected before launching. Shoreline Marina is open on Monday-Thursday from 10am-6pm, Fridays from 10am-9pm, Saturdays from 7am-8pm and Sundays from 7am-6pm.
Boating - 5/24/2013
The lake is open to all boating. The dock is installed. ANS Advisory: The program to prevent the spread of Aquatic Nuisance Species (ANS) in Colorado’s waterways is in force. All boats must be inspected before launch. Colorado Parks & Wildlife encourages all boaters to take a few simple, precautionary steps every time they go to a lake, river or reservoir. Before leaving a lake or other waterway, boaters should: DRAIN the water from the boat, live well and lower unit of the engine; INSPECT all exposed surfaces; REMOVE all plant and animal material; CLEAN the hull of your boat; DRY the boat, fishing gear, and equipment. Our hours are Sunday-Saturday from 7am-9pm.
Camping - 5/24/2013
All campgrounds are open. All shower buildings are open. Be prepared to deposit exact change or personal checks in the self-serve brick wall located beyond the entrance station. Campsite reservations may be made up to 72 hours prior to your arrival by calling 1.800.678.2267, 1.303.470.1144 or by going online. Upon arrival at your reserved site, there will be no transfers to another site.
Fire Restrictions - 5/24/2013
All campfires must be contained in provided campfire rings. Propane and charcoal grills are also allowed. Fire danger is high. Use common sense when wind is blowing. +++No Fireworks Allowed+++
Fishing Report - 5/18/2013
The reservoir is full. Surface water temperature is approximately 66 degrees. Fishing has picked up with the warmer temperatures. This weekend there have been several people out and having great success catching wipers, carp, trout and walleye. There were approximately 4000 trout stocked on 5/16/13.
Hunting - 5/24/2013
Hunting is permitted at Jackson Lake State Park beginning the Tuesday after Labor Day until the Thursday prior to Memorial Day. Only shotguns with birdshot and archery are permitted at Jackson Lake State Park. You must also have a parks pass on your vehicle. The BOR and the area north of Northview is open seven days a week. Parking is only available at the Inlet area of Jackson Lake. Hunters may hunt the shore of the lake from the south end of Fox Hills Campground north to the boundary fence. They may also hunt the ponds located north of Northview Campground. Parking is available at Northview Campground. A parks pass is required for both of these areas. *** GENERAL INFORMATION: For a hunting brochure, please go to our hunting page, which may be found by clicking on the "Park Activities" link on the left. Hunters may hunt on Park’s premises within posted areas and the BOR property south of the reservoir. Park Entrance - 5/24/2013
Be prepared to deposit exact change or checks in the self-serve brick wall located beyond the west entrance station. If a vehicle does not have the annual parks pass, the entrance pass fee per vehicle is $7. (Camping fees are in addition to vehicle fees.)
Road Conditions - 5/24/2013
Roads conditions within Jackson Lake State Park. Gravel roads may become soft when wet but are usuable throughout the year. Speed limits are STRICTLY enforced.
Swimming Conditions - 5/24/2013
***********The swimbeaches are open for the season.*********** Swimming at Jackson Lake is permitted from Memorial Day through Labor Day. Colorado State Park swim beaches do not have lifeguards on duty. Swim at your own risk. Children must be supervised by adults at all times.
Trails - 5/24/2013
The OHV track is open year round. Prairie Wetland Nature Trail is a 1/4 mile, self-guided trail and is located north of Cove Campground. There is also a 1.5 mile trail located between the Visitor Center north to Northview Campground. A trail is also located on the south side of the park from the south swimbeach to Cottonwood day-use picnic area. Folks also enjoy walking along the shoreline or along park roadways. ATV's are NOT ALLOWED on these trails; however, we have an OHV trail south of the reservoir. The OHV track is open year-around. OHV's must be trailered in to the staging area which is the parking lot located at Cottonwood Picnic Area at the South Entrance. All vehicles need to have a park's pass. Water Levels - 5/24/2013

Winter Conditions - 5/24/2013
Winter at Jackson Lake State Park is peaceful and quiet, but there’s plenty to do. Check out the "Winter" link on the left side of Jackson Lake's Activities page for more information. Winter Camping: Jackson Lake offers either electric or non-electric camping year-round; however, the shower buildings are closed. The vault toilets will remain open. Pelican, Northview and Fox Hills Campgrounds are available for reservations. For more information, check out the "Camping" link on the left side of Jackson Lake's main page.
