Amphitheatre - 5/11/2012

The Reverend's Ridge amphitheater hosts educational programs on most weekends during the summer. See the main page of the website for upcoming events.

Cabins and Yurts - 5/11/2012

There are five camper cabins and two yurts in Reverend's Ridge campground. They accommodate a maximum of six people each. Cabins and Yurts are open year round. Please call Reserve America to book 1-800-678-2267 or (303)470-1144.

Campgrounds - 5/11/2012

There are 132 campsites in two campgrounds: Reverend’s Ridge and Aspen Meadow. Reverend’s Ridge offers 38 tent sites and 59 sites with electrical hook-ups. Facilities at Reverend’s Ridge include flush toilets, shower and laundry facilities and a dump station (Some facilities ONLY available during warm weather months). Aspen Meadow offers 35 tent sites and vault toilets (Closed in winter). Golden Gate also offers 20 backcountry tent sites and four backcountry shelters. Rifleman Phillips Group Campground (closed in the winter) can accommodate up to 75 people. It is located in a 50-year-old stand of lodge pole pine and is restricted to tents only For reservation information, call (303) 582-3707. Conference Rooms - 5/11/2012

The Columbine Meeting Room can accommodate 24 people and is available for classes, conferences and meetings. Call (303) 582-3707 for reservations. Visit the "Group Facilities" link on the left side of Golden Gate Canyon's main page for more information.

Dump Station - 5/11/2012

The dump station has opened. Campers can use the dump station with the purchase of an $20 electrical camping permit ($22 May 1st - Sept. 30th). A vehicle pass is also required. The dump station is located in the Reverend's Ridge Campground.

Group Campground - 5/11/2012

Rifleman Phillips Group Campground is available for groups up to 75 people. This campground is for tent campers only. Rifleman campground has closed for the winter. For more information and reservations please call 303-582-3707.

Group Picnic Area - 5/11/2012

The Red Barn Group Picnic Area can accommodate up to 150 people. Call (303) 582-3707 for reservations. Visit the "Group Facilities" link on the left of Golden Gate Canyon's main page for more information.

Horse Trailer Parking - 5/11/2012

Kriley Overlook, Nott Creek and Aspen Meadows are our most horse friendly parking areas. Please check weather conditions before arrival. *Aspen Meadows closes in winter*

Picnic Sites - 5/11/2012

There are many scenic picnic sites throughout the park. Several are located along Ralston Creek on Crawford Gulch road and along Mountain Base road at Ole' Barn Knoll and Bootleg Bottom. Sites are available on a first-come first-serve basis and include a table and charcoal grills for cooking. ADA- accessible picnic tables are located at Kriley Pond, Bootleg Bottom, Panorama Point and Bridge Creek. Picnic sites can be located on the park map available under the "Map and Directions" link on the left side of Golden Gate Canyon's main page.

Showers - 5/11/2012

The shower house and laundry facilities will re-open May 25. The Reverends' Ridge Campground features coin operated showers. Showers cost $1.00 for 4 minutes. A change machine is located in the shower house.

Trails - 5/11/2012

Over 35 miles of hiking trails in the park offer pleasures and challenges for everyone. For more information, visit the "Trails" link on the left side of Golden Gate Canyon's main page.

Visitor Center - 5/11/2012

The Visitor Center is located at the intersection of Golden Gate Canyon Road (Highway 46) and Crawford Gulch Road. The Visitor Center is open seven days a week. Hours of operation vary according to season. Phone: (303) 582-3707.

Wedding Facilities - 5/11/2012

The mountain splendor of Golden Gate Canyon State Park’s wildflower meadows, glorious autumn colors and spectacular view from the Panorama Point Overlook make this park a great location for weddings or events. Wedding ceremonies are typically held on the deck at Panorama Point. Golden Gate Canyon’s rustic Red Barn group picnic area can be rented out for receptions, reunions or other events.
