Winter Activities at Eldorado Canyon

Eldorado Canyon is truly a winter wonderland, its dramatic beauty highlighted by the sparkling trees and rocks after a fresh dusting of snow.  Experience the majestic wonder of the Canyon on cross country skis or snowshoes right after a hearty snowfall. 

Eldorado is not high enough in elevation to sustain large amounts of snow.  Snowshoeing and cross-country skiing are best experienced on the Fowler and Rattlesnake Gulch Trails after a significant snowstorm.  The Eldorado Canyon Trail is usually clear for hiking year-round.
