Yearly Schedule********March 1st through March 31st - East Ramp 6:00 a.m. - 6:00p.m..******April 1st through April 30th - East Ramp open daily 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. West Ramp open Friday - Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 6:00********May 1st through September 30th - Both ramps open 6:00 a.m. - 10:00 p.m. .********October 1st through October 30th - East Ramp open daily 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m. West Ramp open Friday - Sunday 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.******November 1st - November 30th - East Ramp open daily 6:00 a.m. - 6:00 p.m.******December 1st through February 28th - Lake closed to all boating.

Construction

Park visitors will notice several construction projects that will be ongoing this winter and spring. At times there might be temporary closures of some of the roads and trails near the construction sites. We apologize for any inconvenience this may cause. Current projects include: Tower Loop Shoreline Restoration, Cherry Creek Stream Bank Restoration at 12-Mile, Cottonwood Pond Restoration, Dog Off Leash Area Fencing and Trail Improvements, Vault Toilet Replacement at Tower Loop, Old Jet Ski, Lake Loop and Mountain Loop

Fishing Report

Trout are biting on salmon eggs on both the east and west sides but numbers have been dropping off. Perch, Blue Gill and Crappie are biting near Mountain and Lake Loop. The lake is completely ice covered. Please remember to stay 60 feet away from the Tower on Tower Loop. Make sure you have a parks pass for your vehicle and a valid fishing license and good luck! Ice thickness is 0 - 6 inches. Always use caution when venturing onto ice.
Road Conditions

The entrance at Orchard and Parker Roads is closed due to conditions. Park roads susceptible to flash floods and are extremely icy in winter. Park roads may flood during periods of heavy precipitation. Please be courteous and share the road with other users.
Seasonal Closures

****The lake is closed to swimming and boating for the winter.**** Many restrooms have been winterized and closed for the season. Please use center stalls where available. ***** Entrance Station hours may vary depending on staffing, weather and holidays. Self Service passes available at all entrances (cash or checks only for self serve). The East Entrance Station (Parker and Lehigh) is currently open 9:30 a.m. - 4:30 p.m. weekdays and 8:30 a.m. - 5:30 p.m. weekends. West Entrance Station (Union and Dayton) open 11 a.m. - 2 p.m. daily. 12 Mile South (Orchard and Parker) noon - 4 p.m. weekdays and 9 a.m. - 3 p.m. weekends, weather permitting.
