Amphitheatre - 3/13/2013
The Amphitheatre is located at the Ranger Lakes Campground.
Boat Ramps - 3/13/2013
There are two boat ramps available at the North Michigan Reservoir. Aquatic Nuisance Species inspections are required before launching your boat. Inspections are available at the North Michigan entrance station or at the Moose Visitor Center.
Cabins and Yurts - 3/13/2013
There are six cozy cabins by the reservior. Never Summer Nordic has 8 yurts and 2 huts in the State Forest State Park.
Campgrounds - 3/13/2013
Reservations can be booked through September 30th. for Ranger Lakes, Bockman and North Michigan Campgrounds. Crags Campground and our dispersed sites are available on a first come basis. Beyond September 30th campgrounds will remain open as weather allows.
Dump Station - 3/13/2013
The dump station is located off County Road 41 on the road to the shop complex. County Road 41 is the main road through the park.
Entrance Station - 3/13/2013
The State Forest State Park has two attended entrance stations, North Michigan and Ranger Lakes. Self Serve stations are available at the North Michigan, Ranger Lakes and Crags entrances as well as the top of the pass at the start of the Michigan Ditch-American Lakes trailhead.
Fishing Piers - 3/13/2013
Check out the beautiful fishing pier at Ranger Lakes.
Park Office - 3/13/2013
The Moose Visitor Center is located at 56750 Highway 14, just 1 mile east of Gould, CO. Open every day 9 to 5 except for Christmas and Thanksgiving. 970-723-8366
Stables or Corrals - 3/13/2013
The Bockman Horse Corral has 4 sections allowing 3 horses in each section for equestrians to corral their horse while they camp or otherwise enjoy the park. The corral is trail accessible and is located between site #309 and #311 on the east side of Bockman Campground. These corrals were generously gifted by The Roundup Riders of the Rockies Heritage and Trails Foundation. We also have 18 stalls and hitching rails available generously donated by The Northern Colorado Backcountry Horsemen at the Closure camping area.
Trails - 3/13/2013
With so many miles of non-motorized and motorized trails, visitors can recreate for years and not see the whole park. Check the park map and winter recreation guide for more information or call the Moose Visitor Center at 970-723-8366.
Visitor Center - 3/13/2013
Stop in to the Moose Visitor Center for educational displays and interactive exhibits including a touch screen providing a virtual tour of the park. Visit our bookstore for maps, great books, and the new Patsy Barry line of clothing.
