Boat Ramps - 5/24/2013 The park is open for the season. ***Water levels are too low to allow trailered vessels to be launched at this time. Only hand launched vessels will be allowed on the reservoir. The gates across both ramps will remain locked, so that only true hand carried vessels may launch. ADDITIONALLY, hand carried vessels with gas powered motors will not be allowed to launch on Tuesdays and Wednesdays. We will update our web pages as conditions change.*** For basic boating information please refer to the Boating Conditions section below. ALL hand launched vessels that are powered by gasoline WILL be required to be inspected at the Main Entrance prior to going out onto the lake Thursday - Monday. Inspectors will only be available for inspections on Thursday - Monday. All vessels requiring an inspection MUST be cleaned, drained and dried prior to the inspection taking place. This includes requiring the removal of all snow, mud or other road debris from both the trailer and the vessel prior to the inspection. ***Due to confirmation that both Eurasion Water Milfoil and New Zealand Mud Snails are both present in Eleven Mile Reservoir, yellow inspection seals from Eleven Mile Reservoir will NOT be honored at Spinney Reservoir. Construction - 5/24/2013 No construction is planned at this time. Fire Restrictions - 5/24/2013 No fire restrictions exist at this time. Fishing Report - 5/24/2013 No current report exists at this time. Hunting - 5/24/2013 Hunting is permitted for legally hunted species during legal hunting seasons with a legal hunting license in areas that are not closed to hunting. A map of areas CLOSED TO ALL HUNTING is available under the maps section on the Spinney Mountain Home Page. Park Entrance - 5/24/2013 The park is open for the season. Self-servcie passes are available at the main entrance station. All other types of passes and registrations (including Annual Passes and Boat Registrations) are available for purchase at the Eleven Mile State Park office. Road Conditions - 5/24/2013 Roads are clear and dry at this time. Spring Colors - 5/24/2013 Spring blooms are slow in showing this year. Water Levels - 5/24/2013 The park is open for the season. The reservoir water level is at 53% as of May 16th. ***Water levels are forecast to be too low to allow trailer launched boats at Spinney this year. We expect boating to be allowed at nearby Eleven Mile State Park. We will update our web pages as conditions change.***
