Boat Ramps - 5/16/2013
Boat ramps to the Colorado River are available at the Fruita, Connected Lakes and Corn Lake sections. A Parks Pass is required on every vehicle entering Colorado State Parks property, whether you are just using the boat ramp to launch into the river, or are recreating in the park itself. All ramps are currently open.
Boating - 5/16/2013
Boating on Corn Lake, Fruita, Connected Lakes and Island Acres are hand-launch, electric or non-motorized only. No boats are allowed on the Wildlife Area lakes. Life jackets for every person on board in addition to a sound producing device are required on all vessels. A valid registration is required on boats with electric motors.
Camping - 5/16/2013
The Fruita section has 57 sites (22 full hook up, 22 electric, 13 tent) available as well as one group camping area which has 6 sites and one group picnic area. The Island Acres section has 80 campsites (74 electric) and two group picnic areas available. For camping reservations call 1-800-678-2267, or 1-303-470-1144 for Denver metro residents. For group camping reservations at Fruita, call 1-970-858-9188. All amenities are available at both Fruita and Island Acres at this time.
Construction - 5/16/2013
All sections of the James M. Robb-Colorado River State Park are open.
Fire Restrictions - 5/16/2013
There are currently no fire restrictions. All fires in the campgrounds at Fruita and Island Acres must be in the designated fire rings and gathering of wood or vegetation in the park is prohibited.
Fishing Report - 5/20/2013
Fishing at the Fruita section is decent. People have been catching their limit in trout and there have been some very large crappie caught. Bass fishing has slowed down a bit at Connected Lakes but if you get to the park early morning you might have some luck. Trout fishing at Corn and Island Acres has been good. Popular forms of bait have been power bait, worms and flies.

Seasonal Closures - 5/16/2013
The swim beach at Island Acres will open May 18th. The swim beach at the Fruita section is closed indefinitely due to water quality issues.
Trails - 5/16/2013
All sections of the Riverfront Trail are open. The cobblestone trail at Island Acres, the winding trail system at Connected Lakes and the trail around Red Rocks Lake at Fruita make for a great way to get outdoors and enjoy a hike!
Water Levels - 5/20/2013
The Colorado River is flowing at an average of 10900 cfs. Lake levels remain steady.
