Red Barn Group Picnic Area provides a rustic setting for large get-togethers. This area is equipped with sheltered picnic tables, large grills, campfire ring, playground, volleyball court, horse shoe pit and vault toilets. Two historic barns, renovated with electrical outlets and lights, cover the tables. Many visitors enjoy using this site for family reunions, office picnics, neighborhood parties, weddings and graduation receptions. Visitors can take in a wonderful view of a nearby open meadow and creek, enjoy the nearby fishing areas and hiking trails. Guests must provide their own net, ball and horseshoes More photos . Fees: Monday - Friday - $150 + $10 reservation fee
Saturday & Sunday - $200 + $10 reservation fee
Full amount is due at the time of reservation
Capacity: Seating for 100 people, no more than 150 allowed at this site.
Times: 8:00 a.m. to 10:00 p.m.
Parking: Restricted to 25 vehicles. Carpooling is recommended. $7 entrance fee per vehicle
Reservations: The reservation procedure at the Red Barn is changing in 2013 - the earliest that bookings can be made is exactly 6 months in advance of the day. Please refer to the table below for corresponding months.
Reservations can be made year-round at the Red Barn, but please be aware that inclement weather does not entitle you to a refund, and that late spring snow storms are common in the area.

Refunds/Cancellations: No refunds due to inclement weather or firebans. Cancellation fee shall be equal to 25% of the base fee if the cancellation is made 15 or more days prior to reserve date. If the cancellation is made within 14 days of the reserved date then the cancellation fee shall be 100% of the base fee.
