First Annual Field Season Wrap-Up Jan 29th 2009 at DBG Our first annual Wrap-Up was very successful. We reviewed the 2008 field season, with a special presentation from Alix Gadd on monitoring Penstemon harringtonii, an overview of changes to the program, and the planned trips for 2009.
Native Plant ID Class April 14th and 21st, 6-8:30pm at DBG This will be the first of our trainings that will be taught through the Denver Botanic Gardens. New and current RPM Stewards are encouraged to attend this two night class to develop or refresh their plant ID skills. This class is full! GPS Skills Class July 18th, 8:30 AM to Noon at DBG This is another of our trainings that will be taught at DBG. Again, only RPM Stewards needing to develop this skill are required to attend, but all Stewards are welcome to join and refresh their GPS skills. Spring 2009 Training June 12th and 13th 2009 at DBG and Park Creek Hogback There will only be one training per year starting in 2009, alternating between the West Slope and the East Slope.
2008 Field Season
In 2008 we increased our number of trained RPM Stewards to a total of 20. Collectively you volunteered for a total of 328.5 hours. Way to go RPM Stewards!
