Naturalist and bird expert Joey Kellner will lead a group through Chatfield State Park in search of feathered treasures. The guided bird walk will take place on Saturday, Nov. 27 at 8 a.m. Begin your morning with this fall bird walk and then spend the afternoon enjoying the outdoors. Bring some food to grill and have lunch at one of the numerous picnic sites throughout the park.

All ability levels are welcome on the bird walk. No sign up is necessary; interested participants should simply meet at the Platte River parking lot. Please leave your pets at home, wear sturdy shoes for hiking and dress for the weather. Bring sunscreen, snacks and insect repellant as needed. A daily or annual parks pass is required for this event. For more information, call (303) 791-7275.
