Learn Whoo’s Who in the owl world. Join naturalist Ann Sarg at Roxborough State Park from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. on Saturday, Nov. 6 to learn about these amazing creatures. After the leaves have fallen off the trees, it is agreat time to spot owls, especially the great horned owl. An owl’s shape is very typical—a rounded blocky body with a large, round head and a little neck.

Program participants will discover how owls see in the dark and fly silently. You will also learn about their amazing hearing, find out what they eat, and dissect an owl pellet.
